Too much salt , but I CRAVE it !
Currently I crave Tajin . If you aren't familiar , it's the fruit seasoning you get to season your fruit , sometimes raw veggies .
I can eat Tajin without the fruit and i have finished a bottle of it over the course of my 5 month pregnancy ! Sometimes I mix it with water and drink it because I CRAVE the salty taste . Anyone had any similar cravings ? Can it effect the cell development in my baby ?! Like cause autism or abnormal brain activity?!
I haven't told my doctor my addiction but I plan on it when I go in the 22nd . I know it's bad :/

Sounds gross lol but we like what we like during pregnancy. I wonder if it'll show up in any of your blood work though. I do t think it causes a defect with baby directly but you definitely could have fluid retention if you're getting too much salt in your diet overall.

Girl you need to chill with all that salt - your pressure could go up! I'm about to be 20 weeks - so far no cravings which is good because i ate ice cream every day with my son :-(
@tash3278,
I know lol but I crave it because I didn't eat it much before pregnancy ! I finished the bottle and won't buy anymore !
I ate alllooottttt of salt during my pregnancy also. I had my baby 3 weeks ago and my feet are still swollen from water retention due to my salt intake. They've been swollen for 4 months..., and not a little swollen, REALLY swollen and very painful. You should stop or slow it all the way down... I wish I did.
@delle416,
I'm pretty thin and before pregnancy I was really fit so I haven't experienced any water retention because I also drink close to two gallons of water a day ! But I'm going to for sure stop eating it but I crave salt since I don't eat it a lot
You need to be careful with your salt/sodium intake while pregnant. Salt already promotes water retention and when you're pregnant salt promotes swelling due to the water retention. And yes it does have an affect on blood pressure and what not. So I would monitor your salt intake. I doubt you want to swell up and retain water which is also added weight.
so that bad if u pregnant bc I am 6 months can that still harm my baby

Try the low sodium one with the blue cap.

I understand that. Its similar to the Mexican "lucas" salt. 😋
I've always enjoyed seasonings and salty foods. I'm not a sugar or sweets person at all. Definitely watch your sodium intake, pregnant or not.
FOLLOW IT UP WITH WATER 💦💦💦!!! Sorry I don't mean to make it seem like I'm yelling, haha, but I seriously can't stress enough to follow up your salt intake with water. Salt will dehydrate you and bby! You need to increase you water intake as well since you're constantly eating something that's going to take away your water.
